Engine Toyota 2UR-FSE

In 2007, Toyota debuted its 5.0-liter 2UR-FSE gasoline engine as a component of the second-generation Lexus Hybrid System. Additionally intriguing is the engine’s combined fuel injection system, which combines the traditional distributed MPI with the direct D4-S.

Disadvantages of the 2UR-FSE engine

Many owners express dissatisfaction regarding oil consumption as a result of rings;
The chain tensioner and water pump have a finite lifespan;
The ETCS-i electronic throttle system occasionally has issues, but other than that, it is incredibly reliable.
