Engine Volkswagen BUD

From 2006 to 2010, a number of well-known models, including the Golf, Polo, Cuddy, Fabia, and Octavia, were equipped with the 1.4-liter 16-valve Volkswagen BUD engine. This motor gave way to the CGGA and replaced a comparable BCA power unit on the conveyor.

Disadvantages of the VW BUD engine

In addition to being fairly noisy, this engine’s dependability is regarded as mediocre.
Throttle or EGR contamination are the primary causes of floating engine speeds.
The oil receiver is frequently clogged as a result of poor design, endangering the engine.
The valves bend when at least one of the low-resource timing belts breaks.
The network also complains about ignition coil failure and oil leaks.
