Disadvantages of the VW DJKA engine
There are no comprehensive statistics regarding the breakdowns of this newly developed turbo engine;
Various noises and rattling under the hood have been the primary complaints thus far.
The timing belt is replaced every 120,000 kilometers in accordance with the regulations, and the valves bend when it breaks;
Although it has a small resource, a water pump with two thermostats is not inexpensive;
There hasn’t yet been a typical issue with the EA211 series’ thrust wedge of the turbine actuator.
