Engine Fiat 182A3000

From 1995 to 1999, the company assembled the 1.4-liter 12-valve Fiat 182A3000 engine, which was fitted to the Lancia Y as 840A2000 as well as models like the Brava, Bravo, and Marea. An engine with the indexes 182A5000 and 840A4000, respectively, was derated.

Disadvantages of the Fiat 182A3000 engine

The camshaft’s quick wear is this engine’s most well-known issue;
The development of deposits in the cylinder head’s lubrication system channels is the cause;
Here, oil leaks are also frequent, particularly from the camshaft seals; the timing belt should be changed every 60,000 kilometers, or else the valves will bend; the motor’s low reliability is caused by various electricians and attachments.
