Disadvantages of the Fiat 198A3000 engine
Oil starvation causes the liners in these diesel engines to frequently rotate;
The oil pump’s wear or the gasket that allows it to be aired is the cause; in this case, the boost air supply pipe and the EGR heat exchanger frequently burst;
Oil and antifreeze leaks are frequently caused by cracked gaskets in the engine;
A particulate filter and EGR cause a lot of problems, just like in all contemporary diesel engines.
